| To produce your order we require a clearly dimensioned
plan of your gutter only, showing the overall length and any corners
required. The plan to show what the gutter is to be fixed to, for
example: Fascia - steel or gluelam or other. This will give us the
information as to which fixings to include with your gutter.
We would also require a measurement from one end of the gutter showing the distance to the centre of any outlet, and the distance from the back of the gutter to the centre of the outlet. Also the outside diameter of the downpipe, the options in size being 64mm, 70mm, 90mm, and 100mm. Allow at one end or both ends, an extra 150mm overhang for any outlets. Another option available is to have a 150mm wide x 80mm deep end chute welded in the stop ends to discharge into hoppers. If you state "WALLS" on the plan, we will pre-drill your gutter with 13mm diameter holes every 200mm and supply 75mm long x 12mm sleeve anchor bolts, or longer if asked for. If you state "FASCIA" on the plan, we will supply 120mm long x 10mm stainless coach screws for going through fascias into the rafter ends. Important! If the roof is modern and trusses are used instead of rafters, contact us and we can advise. Sizes are limited with our normal carrier to 6 metre long sections, but if longer sections are required, we are able to use flat back lorries. Transport is charged to you at cost, depending on where and weight. If your glazing uses Timber bars or Aluminium terminating with a Ring Beam, you may need one of our Ring Beam Adaptors for support. See Ring Beam Adaptors. Payment All our gutters are bespoke to your needs. On receipt of your drawing and order, we send you a proforma invoice, on payment of which your job goes into manufacture. At this stage we can give you an accurate delivery date. We guarantee all gutters for 20 years. |
